Albany State Baseball extends win streak to 11

The Albany State winning streak reaches 11 as the Golden Rams defeated the Savannah State Tigers (10-8) at the ASU West Campus Baseball Complex on Friday night.  With the win, the Golden Rams improved to (12-2) overall and (10-0) in the SIAC.  The Tigers fell to (8-4) overall and (6-3) in the SIAC. 
 
Trailing (6-4) in the bottom of the 6th inning, the Golden Rams Lavoisier Fisher hit a grand slam to give Albany State an (8-6) lead. 
 
The Golden Rams added another run in the bottom of the 7th inning when Jonathan Logsdon hit a solo homerun over the left field fence to give Albany State a (9-8) advantage.
 
Tyler Bullock earned his 1st win of the year for the Golden Rams.  Starting pitcher, Jeremiah Reddell, pitched 5.1 innings for the Golden Rams.  Reddell allowed 4 earned runs.  Chase Karnearned the save for the Golden Rams.
 
The Golden Rams and Tigers will play a double header on Saturday, March 11.  The first pitch is scheduled at 12:00 noon.
